Giada at EW
Nuremburg, Germany and Shenzhen, China, 27th February 2018 - Giada, a leading developer and manufacturer of embedded PC and motherboards, servers and storage appliances, showcased its current range of industrial applications, including ultra-compact industrial PC AS20-F1 and pico boards, at Booth 3-257 during the Embedded World 2018 in Nuremberg. Besides, the company also introduced a new industrial PC for outdoor applications, DE67-W1.


AS20-F1，a newly-launched industrial control PC, adopts Intel Bay Trail Atom E3815 processor. The machine, with six serial ports, features wide operating temperature from -40℃ to 70℃ ( -40 ℉ ~ 158 ℉ ). The PC, with a fanless and robust design, can work in various harsh environments.


The pico board displayed at the expo, AP23-N3350, is an industrial control motherboard that is based on Intel Apollo Lake platform. AP23-N3350 supports a VGA port and a LVDS port (1920 x 1080 pixels). Equipped with a 100mm x 72mm heat sink, the motherboard can be applied in outdoor environments of wide-range temperatures.


Giada also displayed its menu-board and video-wall media players during the expo, demonstrating the outstanding performance of its products for integrated solutions of industrial automation, digital signage, kiosk, collaboration, commercial POS, desk virtualization and OPS/SDM. Giada’s booth attracted numerous enthusiastic visitors during the expo.


New Industrial PC
During the Expo, Giada also revealed that it will launch a new industrial PC, DE67-W1, for outdoor application this April. The DE67-W1 builds on Giada's model F302 and has been specially developed for outdoor industrial control applications. The compact PC (260mmx175mmx35mm) combines the proven design of Giada PCs with an extended operating temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. This allows the fanless, robust DE67-W1 24-hour continuous operation in harsh environments.

DE67 uses an Intel Kaby Lake-U CPU of the 7th generation and supports the display with a resolution of 4k. The model has numerous I / O ports, including an HDMI port, a DP port, a VGA port and 8 USB ports and numerous serial interfaces (6 R232 / RS485) for Automation Control Connect.


German Co-exhibitor
Giada co-exhibited with its European distributor, Concept International GmbH at EW. Concept displayed Giada’s menu-board and video-wall media players, such as G330, G302, F302, D67, PC67, F105D, VM23, DK37 and DN72 during the expo.
