The jukebox is the classic intersection of music and hanging out with your friends. Whether it be a nickel, dime, quarter, or dollar, feeding the machine to play your favorite song is a classic bit of Americana. We’ve seen the rise of the digital touch-screen jukebox and they’re popping up in bars across the world.
The heart of this jukebox is a compact "core controller" designed to support audio and video outputs, as well as other essential I/O control functions. To choose a suitable embedded PC for the core controller is the most important for the success of jukeboxes.
Aiming to create a compact, powerful, and cost-effective jukebox to revolutionize complete entertainment packages encompassing music, videos, and digital signage applications, the customer required the embedded PC for the jukebox to have ultra-compact design and extended life cycle.
Having collaborated with Giada since 2018 on various projects, the customer found Giada products to be exceptionally reliable, with a low return merchandise authorization (RMA) rate. The customer finally chose Giada's latest offering, the DK310, for the jukeboxes. The embedded PC features slim design, over 7 years' life cycle and removable MSATA slot, aligning seamlessly with the "core controller" concept, ensuring long-term deployment success.

About Giada DK310
Giada DK310 adopts Elkhart Lake embedded processors. Giada DK310 is currently available with a selection of two processors, including the low TDP (10W) Celeron J6412 and Pentium J6426. The Elkhart Lake platform also enables the signage player to have more than 7 years life cycle.
DK310 adopts Intel UHD Graphics for 10th Gen Intel Processors. It supports vivid dual 1080p or dual UHD videos playback via HDMI 2.0a (4096 x 2160@60Hz) and DisplayPort 1.2 (4096 x 2160@60Hz) ports. DK310 also features various networking connection, including Ethernet and Wi-Fi/BT. It can support Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6. As operating systems, it runs on Windows 10 (64bit), Windows 11 (64bit) and Linux Ubuntu (64bit).
