Giada, a leading developer and manufacturer of embedded PC and motherboards, servers and storage appliances, showcased its media player, F302, for the smart restaurant resolution at Intel Partner Connect (IPC) held at National Harbor, MD, through March 13-15.


This solution, co-operated by Giada and Web-on, a close ISV partner of Giada based in Hong Kong, comprises nine major modules to satisfy restaurant operation needs. It seamless integrated latest technologies such as mobile apps, self-service interactive kiosk, computerized management, digital signage, automation, big data and cloud technology, into modern food & restaurant business. By implementing this solution, restaurants can increase table turnover rate, achieve guest-self-sufficient, shorten guest waiting time and reduce operation cost &
chance of human error,  thus results in better guest experience and higher margin.


The media player F302, which powered the solution, adopt the latest 6th Generation Intel® Skylake-U CPU with Intel® HD Graphics, providing high computing performance and ultra-high resolution display output. With a DP and an HDMI2.0 port, F302 supports 4k display. With fanless and durable design, the media player is suitable for wide range of operating conditions, e.g. noiseless or harsh environments.


Besides F302, Giada also displayed media players supporting smart digital signage resolution, which are F210U, i59 and F105D. F210U, a compact-sized and cost-effective thin client, adopts Intel® Cherry Trail CPU and provides 2G/4G onboard memory and 32G/64G eMMC storage. I59U is a book-size signage player adopting Intel 6th generation Core processors. F105D, an ultra-thin fanless Mini PC powered by Intel® Celeron® Apollo Lake N3350/3450 processor, supports three video outputs, a DP, and HDMI and a VGA port. It’s a perfect choice for Digital Signage applications, such as shopping mall and interactive All-in-One PC.
