Giada high density servers are focused on providing high
performance,convenient operation and maintenance,and
reliable quality.With 2U space and quadruple efficiency,
they are applicable to virtualization,distributedstorage,
high performance computing,large scale clustering and
other complex applications.
The server uses the Intel® Xeon™ octa-core E5-2600 V2 series high-performance processor, supports the I/O acceleration, Turbo 2.0,
and hyperthreading technologies, equipped with DDR3 memory, supports 16 memory slots for a single node. Each memory can
support up to 1866 MHz and 1 TB, to fully meet computing requirements for virtualization technologies and ensure long equipment life
and stable running.
The standard 2U chassis can carry four hot pluggable system child nodes, with each node supporting a maximum of six 2.5" hard drives
(SSDs or HDDs based on customer demands):
1). Provides two CPU slots (LGA 2011) and supports the Intel® Xeon™ E5-2600 series and E5-2600 V2 series processors.
2). Supports up to 1 TB of ECC DDR3 memory with the highest frequency reaching 1866 MHz, and provides 16 DIMM memory slots
on each node.
3). Provides one MicroLP PCIe 3.0 (x8) slot on each node.
4) Dual Intel® i350 gigabit Ethernrt net ports
5). Six 2.5" SATA/SAS hard drive slots (hot-pluggable)
6). One LSI 2008 SAS2 controller
Giada servers are designed with tool free drawetype computing modules and hot pluggable hard drives. An engineer can unplug a
module or a hard drive for maintenance even in full load mode.
High energy efficiency
The GC2524 uses two 1620 W platinum batteries that have very high conversion efficiency (94%). The batteries work in redundancy
mode, which greatly improves system security.
